Tatenda is a seasoned Chartered Accountant with over 12 years of experience in Accounting and Audit. Tatenda studied both at the National University of Science and Technology (Zimbabwe) where he completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting, and at the University of South Africa where he completed his BCompt (Honours) CTA. Subsequently, he completed the SAICA Final Qualifying Exam 1 (ITC) and the SAICA Final Qualifying Exam 2 (APC) both at first attempt.
Tatenda ensures that all the technical aspects of the operations of RCA and Company are always ahead of the dynamic financial transacting and reporting frameworks. Over the years, Tatenda has worked in both private and public sector and his work experience spans across South Africa. Tatenda has more than 10 years’ experience in both Local and National Government having managed projects across all the provinces in South Africa. Tatenda trained at Ernst and Young, and has handled Government audits as an audit manager on behalf of the Auditor General of South Africa.
Tatenda is a National Treasury mSCOA preferred trainer, and has been involved in the implementation of mSCOA providing training and technical assistance across the country from the time the legislation was introduced. He has a keen interest in technology and how technology can help companies to adapt and endure throughout changing and uncertain economic cycles.
